Nokia Interactive Advertising delivers an entertaining solution for BNP Paribas customers

The challenge – Engage mobile consumers with brand and mobile products
The objective of the campaign was to encourage 18- to 29-year-old mobile users in France to visit the BNP Paribas WAP site.
The solution – Mobile campaign with banner ads and mobile Web site
BNP Paribas launched mobile banner ads on the Nokia Media Network, bringing consumers to the mobile Web site with a single click. On the site, visitors could watch exclusive videos of two of France’s leading comics, Eric & Ramzy.
By providing access to original entertainment, the campaign aimed to encourage users to trial BNP Paribas banking products and services.
The results – CTRs averaging 16.68%
BNP Paribas began the campaign with a month-long trial that delivered an impressive click-through rate of 16.68% across Nokia’s network of mobile publishers. On Nokia.mobi in particular, the click-through rate was even higher at 20%.
The success of the 900,000-impression test period led the group to extend the campaign for a further month. The second “Eric & Ramzy” campaign delivered a stunning 125,000 site visits and 30,000 video views. Following this success, BNP Paribas and its agency plan to continue the relationship with Nokia Interactive Advertising.
